A native Utahn with an entrepreneurial mindset, Blake Edwards has built a solid reputation as a real estate specialist among his clients and peers. Since 2014, he has enjoyed serving clients around the greater Salt Lake and Utah counties. Blake revels in finding the perfect starter home for newlywed couples, or discovering comfortable settings with a mix of urban culture and sanctuary for empty nesters. Blake also enjoys assisting individuals with investment properties in any one of the growing neighborhoods in Salt Lake City and its surrounding cities. The degree of market knowledge and real estate experience Blake has acquired over the years has resulted in many satisfied clients, and has garnered him some prestigious awards from professional organizations among his peers.

To Blake’s family and clients who have become good friends, his success comes as no surprise. Born in Salt Lake City and raised in Sandy, he attended Jordan high school, lettering in Wrestling and Cross Country. Those close to him know the stories of his childhood business venture of opening up a candy stand along the elementary school routes. After graduating from high school, Blake spent two years in Uruguay serving as a missionary where he became fluent in Spanish. Back home, he attended the University of Utah. Feeling a strong urge to experience the culture, surroundings, and the people he had served on his mission, Blake took a hiatus from school and went on a six-week backpacking adventure through South America. He eventually decided to follow in the footsteps of his father’s 35-year real estate career. Blake’s innate business sense, sales abilities, and background in buying and selling his own investment properties made real estate a natural fit. His relaxed, warm professionalism and savvy business skills has led to a confident and loyal base of clients. Blake’s favorite part of the work is seeing a family walk into a home -- whether it’s their first home or their 4th -- and start talking about where they’re going to put their family treasures. Some of his most enthusiastic clients are people who had trouble making decisions initially, and his patient response won them over. With this approach, Blake continues to get referrals for his services from past clients to their family and friends.

To balance his work schedule, Blake takes annual fishing trips to Lake Powell with his supportive and patient wife, and spends time with their three amazing kids (two energetic boys and one sweet daughter). Blake also enjoys cheering on the University of Utah football team, training for marathons (recently finishing his 15th), and traveling where he recently had an up-close experience scuba diving near bull sharks. Blake is a big supporter of young people, teaching life skills to high school teens with the goal of helping them finish school and become successful and productive members of their communities.
